Naoki Hasegawa

Associate

Naoki has a broad commercial litigation practice including contract, real estate, and professional negligence disputes. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Naoki completed his articles at his current firm before returning as an associate.

Naoki obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During his time in school, he received multiple academic recognitions including the Harper Grey LLP Prize in Law and Medicine. He also worked as a research assistant conducting research on corporate law and corporate governance. He was actively engaged in the student community through founding and organizing student clubs, volunteering, and participating in a national competitive moot.

Naoki is originally from Japan and is active in the Japanese Canadian community. He serves as a member on the Executive Steering Committee for the Japanese Canadian Lawyers Association.

Naoki has native fluency in Japanese.
